Michela Fanini (born March 23, 1973 in Lucca , † October 16, 1994 in Capannori ) was an Italian cyclist .

In 1992, at the age of 19, Michela Fanini became Italian road racing champion; second in the following year. In 1993 she and the Italian team took third place in the team time trial at the World Road Championships in Oslo.

In 1994 Michela Fanini won the Giro d'Italia Femminile and three stages in the Grande Boucle Féminine . In the autumn of the same year, she died in an accident with her car at the age of 21.

Her father Brunello Fanini organizes the annual Giro della Toscana Femminile - Memorial Michela Fanini in memory of her . There is also the Italian women's team "SC Michela Fanini".
