Commonwealth Games 2018 / Beach volleyball

At the Commonwealth Games 2018 in Gold Coast , Australia , a women's and men's beach volleyball competition took place from April 6 to 12, 2018 . The two competitions were held on Coolangatta Beach .

In each of the two competitions twelve pairings started, divided into three groups of four. The group first and second as well as the two best group thirds advanced to the quarter-finals. Australia and Canada met in both finals . For women, the Canadians Melissa Humana-Paredes and Sarah Pavan prevailed, and for men, Christopher McHugh and Damien Schumann . Bronze went to Vanuatu for women and New Zealand for men .
