Olivija Baleišytė (born September 3, 1998 in Panevėžys ) is a Lithuanian cyclist who competes in races on track and road .
Athletic career
In 2015 Olivija Baleišytė won the bronze medal in the single pursuit at the European Junior Railway Championships in Athens . The following year she was European junior champion in this discipline ; she set a new junior world record with 2: 22.31 minutes over 2000 meters . In the Omnium , she was runner-up in Europe. In 2017 she became national champion in four disciplines: in the individual pursuit, in the elimination race , in the points race and in the omnium, in January 2018 she won the titles in the omnium and scratch . At the 2017/18 Track Cycling World Cup in Pruszków she was third in the scratch and fifth overall, and third in the overall ranking in the Omnium.
In 2018 and 2019, Baleišytė won further national titles on the track, and in 2018 she was second in the individual time trial on the road and in the road race.
