Daniel Holloway (born May 21, 1987 in Morgan Hill ) is an American track and road cyclist.

Athletic career

In 2003, Daniel Holloway was the US track cycling champion in the 500 m time trial in the youth class. Two years later he won the championship in the single pursuit in the junior class. On the road, he won a stage in the Tour de l'Abitibi in 2005 . In the 2007 season, Holloway was successful in the Merced Downtown Criterium and in 2008 he won the Central Valley Classic and the Morgan Hill Grand Prix. In the Tour of Pennsylvania he won two stages in the same year.

Also in 2008 Holloway was four-time national champion on the track, with Colby Pearce in two-man team driving , in scratch , with Brad Huff , Colby Pearce and Taylor Phinney in the team pursuit and in the U23 points race . On the road, he became the American master in the criterion in 2010 and a stage in the Vuelta Mexico in 2012 . In the following years he primarily contested criteria in the USA.

In 2017 Daniel Holloway returned to the track and won the Omnium at the World Cup in Santiago de Chile . In the same discipline he won the national championship title and with Adrian Hegyvary , Gavin Hoover and Daniel Summerhill in the team pursuit. The following year he was together with Hegyvary Pan American champion in two-man team driving and won two more national titles.
