from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The UCI - Track Cycling World Cup 2010/2011 took place between December 2, 2010 and February 20, 2011 and consisted of four competitions in Melbourne , Cali , Beijing and Manchester . This World Cup season was of particular importance, as the placements that have been achieved will determine the qualification for the 2012 Olympic Games in London , broken down into individual and national rankings .

Individual disciplines, such as points race , two-person team races or single pursuit , which are no longer part of the Olympic program, were nevertheless held at the World Cup at the request of the respective organizer.
