Carlos Alberto Ospina Hernández (born September 10, 1982 in Nechí ) is a Colombian cyclist .

Career

Carlos Ospina took third place in the overall ranking of the Cinturón Ciclista a Mallorca in 2008 . During the Vuelta a Colombia in the same year, he was tested positive in a doping control and banned for two years until May 27, 2010, so that his 2009 successes are denied.

After his suspension expired, he became the 2010 Colombian Time Trial Championship on the road . He was able to repeat this success in 2013. On the track , he finished in 2009 during the World Cup in Cali third place in Madison along with Carlos Alberto Urán and was 2010 champion in Pan Madison along with Weimar Roldán and Scratch .
