Weimar Alfonso Roldán Ortiz (born May 17, 1985 in Medellín ) is a Colombian cyclist .
Athletic career
On the road , Roldán became the 2005 Pan American champion in the U23 class individual time trial . The following year he won a stage in the U23 edition of the Vuelta a Colombia . At the Vuelta a Venezuela , he won a stage and thus his first international elite cycle race. After becoming the Colombian road champion in 2011, he joined the UCI Continental Team EPM-UNE in 2013 and won a stage for this team in the Tour do Rio and in 2014 the Vuelta a Colombia. In 2017 he switched to Medellin-Indians and was stage winner of the Vuelta a Asturias .
Roldán is also successful in track cycling . He was the Pan American championship points race in 2010 and team pursuit in 2011 . With the Colombian team he won the Pan American Games in the team pursuit. He also won two races in the Track Cycling World Cup , in the team pursuit in 2009 and in the Madison in 2011 .
