Arles Antonio Castro Laverde (born September 17, 1979 in Urrao ) is a former Colombian track and road cyclist. He was seven times Pan American champion in the disciplines of individual and team pursuit. and points race.

Arles Castro was 2003 Colombian vice-champion in the individual pursuit on the track . In the 2005 season he was successful in the team time trial of the Vuelta a El Salvador . In 2007 Castro won the gold medal in the team pursuit and in the points race at the Pan American Championships in Valencia . By 2015 he had won a total of eight Pan-American titles in track cycling, six of them in the team pursuit. In 2008 and 2012 Castro started with the Colombian four-way scull at the Olympic Games, which finished tenth in Beijing and eighth in London . Twice - 2011 and 2015 - he won the gold medal in the team pursuit at the Pan American Games .
