Robinson Chalapud
Robinson Eduardo Chalapud Gomez (born March 8, 1984 in Ipiales ) is a Colombian road cyclist .
Robinson Chalapud began his career in 2007 with the Colombian Continental Team Colombia es Pasión . He achieved his first notable results in the 2011 season. He finished sixth at the GP Miguel Indurain , eighth place at the Klasika Primavera Amorebieta and in August of that year fifth overall at the Tour de l'Ain .
In 2013 he took part for the first time in the Giro d'Italia , which he finished in 93rd place and was sixth in the mountain classification . A year later Chalapud took part again in the Giro d'Italia . He finished 75th in the overall ranking and fifth in the mountain ranking. In addition, he was sixth in the stage at the top of the mountain on Monte Zoncolan . At the beginning of 2015, after moving to the Colombian team Orgullo Antioqueño, he became the Colombian road racing champion.
