John Freddy García
John Freddy García Feria (born May 25, 1974 in Buga , Valle del Cauca ) is a former Colombian road cyclist .
In 1998, John Freddy García won three medals at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Maracaibo : a gold medal each in the two-man team driving (with John Ramírez ) and in the team sprint (with John J. González and Marco A. Rios ) and a bronze one in the team pursuit . The following year he signed his first professional contract.
In 2002 García was Colombian road racing champion and in 2004 and 2006 he won the Vuelta al Valle del Cauca . He started three times at the Giro d'Italia . In the course of his cycling career, he won 29 stages in tours, mainly in South America. In 2001 he won a stage of the Tour du Maroc .
