Félix Rafael Cárdenas Ravalo (born November 24, 1972 in Encino , Santander ) is a Colombian racing cyclist .

Career

Felix Cárdenas began his international career in 2000 with the Spanish cycling team Kelme . In his second year for this team he celebrated his greatest success to date with a stage win at the 2001 Tour de France . He achieved his best results in the Grand Tours at the Vuelta a España , where he won a stage and the mountain classification in 2003 and Vuelta a España in 2004 . In 2003 he was also eighth overall. After Cárdenas drove for the British Professional Continental Team Barloworld from 2005 to 2009 , he continued his career with nationally registered Colombian teams. a. Win the Clasico RCN in 2010 , the Vuelta a Colombia in 2011 and 2012 and the Colombian road racing championship in 2010 and 2012 .
