Gintarė Gaivenytė (born April 23, 1986 in Utena ) is a former Lithuanian cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2008 Gintarė Gaivenytė was third in the Lithuanian road championships. Since then she has attracted international attention , especially in the team sprint on the track together with Simona Krupeckaitė . The two drivers took joint podium places in World Cup races several times . Both in 2009 and 2010 Gaivenytė and Krupeckaitė were third in team sprints at world championships.

In 2012, Gintarė Gaivenytė and Simona Krupeckaitė both became European champions in the team sprint. In 2015 she ended her cycling career.
