Tsubasa Kitatsuru
Tsubasa Kitatsuru ( Japanese 北 津 留 翼 , Kitatsuru Tsubasa ; born April 26, 1985 in Kitakyūshū , Fukuoka Prefecture ) is a Japanese track cyclist .
In 2003 Tsubasa Kitatsuru was two-time junior world champion in Moscow , in keirin and sprint . In 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2011 he was Asian Sprint Champion and also won the Asian Games in 2006 in this discipline . In 2010, he finished second at the Asian Sprint Championships. He has won national titles in the sprint, team sprint , keirin and 1000 meter time trial several times.
In 2008 Kitatsuru started in the sprint at the Olympic Games in Beijing and finished 14th.
