Sebastián David Muntaner Juaneda (born July 12, 1983 in Establiments , Palma ) is a Spanish cycling coach and former track and road cyclist .
Athletic career
David Muntaner became Spanish track cycling champion in scratch in Valencia in 2003 . In 2006 he took third place in the team pursuit at the World Cup in Los Angeles . The next year he finished second in the six-day race in Aguascalientes . At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , he took seventh place in the team pursuit with the Spanish national team. Later he was second in the team pursuit at the Track Cycling World Cup in Melbourne and together with Unai Elorriaga he won the Madison competition .
In 2013, Muntaner and Albert Torres became vice world champion in two-man team driving in Minsk , and the following year the two drivers became world champions together . After the UCI Track World Championships in 2015 , he ended his active cycling career.
Professional
Immediately afterwards, David Muntaner became the Irish national coach of the national rail team. The contact came about through the training of the Irish on Mallorca , where Muntaner lives.
