Unai Elorriaga Zubiaur (* 22. June 1980 in Barakaldo ) is a former Spanish rail - and road cyclist .

Athletic career

Unai Elorriaga began his career in 2003 with the Spanish cycling team Cafés Baqué . In the 2005 season he won the Trofeo Guerrita and the Cursa Ciclista de Llobregat. On the track, he became the Spanish championship points race . In the next year he was able to repeat his success at the Trofeo Guerrita. He also won a stage in the Bizkaiko Bira. In 2007 Elorriaga was together with Aitor Alonso Spanish track cycling champion in the Madison and he won the European championship in the Omnium . At the Track Cycling World Cup in Melbourne in 2008 he was successful in the Madison together with David Muntaner .

In 2014 Elorriaga won the bronze medal in the Omnium at the European Rail Championships .
