Jérôme Neuville

Jérôme Neuville (born August 15, 1975 in Saint-Martin-d'Hères ) is a former French cyclist .

Athletic career

Jérome Neuville won his first medal at the track cycling world championships in 1997 with his compatriots in the team pursuit . In 1998 he won the pair time trial Duo Normand . He then signed with Crédit Agricole from the following season. In his first year there, he won the silver medal at the World Track Cycling Championships with the French Equipe. A year later he won bronze for the second time. At the 2001 World Championships he was first world champion in Madison with Robert Sassone . He defended this title the following year with Franck Perque . In 2003 he won his third and final bronze medal in the team pursuit. Most recently Neuville was world champion in scratch in 2006.
