Fabien Sanchez (born March 30, 1983 in Hyères ) is a former French cyclist .
Fabien Sanchez focused on track cycling , where he won four French championship titles. He celebrated his first major international success in 2003: together with Fabien Merciris , Jérôme Neuville and Franck Perque , he finished third in the team pursuit at the World Railroad Championships . In 2004 he took part in the Olympic Games in Athens . In the single pursuit, he finished sixth, and in the team pursuit, the French team finished seventh.
Fabien Sanchez became a professional with the road team fdjeux.com in 2003 and drove for the ProTeam Cofidis in 2006 , but without any major successes. In 2008 he started a second time at the Olympic Games and was 15th in the single pursuit.
