Omar Bertazzo
Omar Bertazzo (born January 7, 1989 in Este ) is a former Italian rail and road cyclist .
Athletic career
Omar Bertazzo won a stage at the Trittico del Veneto in 2007 in the junior class . The following year he won the bronze medal in the team pursuit of the U23 class at the European Rail Championships . In 2009, he was with his team Bottoli Nordelettrica Ramonda in the team time trial success of the Vuelta a Tenerife, and he won another stage. In the 2010 season he won the bronze medal in the U23 points race at the European Rail Championships .
His older brother Liam is also a successful cyclist. Together with this, Omar Bertazzo was third in the Italian championship in two-man team driving in 2011 . At the end of 2014 he ended his cycling career.
