Giairo Ermeti
Giairo Ermeti (born April 7, 1981 in Rottofreno ) is a former Italian track and road cyclist .
In 2004 Giairo Ermeti won a stage of the Volta Ciclista Internacional a Lleida and won the Piccolo Giro di Lombardia . Two years later he won the Swiss one-day race Giro del Lago Maggiore . In 2007 he won three national titles on the track: in the team pursuit with Claudio Cucinotta , Matteo Montaguti and Alessandro De Marchi , in the scratch and in the single pursuit . In 2011 he was again Italian champion in team pursuit, together with Omar Bertazzo , Alessandro De Marchi and Filippo Fortin . 2007 andIn 2011 he started at the UCI track world championships without taking up front places.
Ermeti competed four times between 2009 and 2013 at the Giro d'Italia . His best placement was 83rd in 2008 .
