Filippo Fortin (born February 1, 1989 in Monselice ) is an Italian track and road cyclist .

Athletic career

Filippo Fortin was Italian champion in the team pursuit of the junior class on the track in 2007, in 2011 with Omar Bertazzo , Alessandro De Marchi and Giairo Ermeti in the elite class he won this title in 2011. On the road, Fortin 2011 won a stage of the Vuelta Ciclista de Chile . At the road cycling world championship in Copenhagen he finished sixth in the road race of the U23 class.

At the end of the 2011 season, Fortin received a stagiaire contract with the Professional Continental Team Androni Giocattoli-CIPI as a stagiaire . In 2012 Fortin drove for Team Type 1-Sanofi and in 2013 switched to Team Bardiani Valvole-CSF Inox . In the following years he won smaller races and stages of tours such as the Tour of Slovakia (2015), the Tour of Serbia (2016), the Flèche du Sud (2017 and 2018). In 2018 he also won one stage of the Czech Cycling Tour and the Szlakiem Walk Majora Hubala for himself.
