Joey Ansah (born November 24, 1982 in London , England ) is a British actor and stuntman of Ghanaian descent.

life and career

Joey Ansah is the son of a Ghanaian and an Englishwoman and was born in London in 1982. At the age of ten, his family moved with him to Ghana. Before that he attended the private schools Oakfield School and Dulwich College Prep in London. He then attended the local Taekwondo school, where he learned martial arts. At the age of 15 he moved back to Plymouth . After graduating, he attended Oxford Brookes University .

He made his acting debut in the action film Left for Dead in 2005, in which he played a kickboxer. In the same year he played the role of Mango in Love Struck and Ansah was one of the shadow fighters in Batman Begins . He stood in front of the camera as a ninja alongside Christian Bale and Liam Neeson . He had his greatest film role as agent and hit man Desh in the action film The Bourne Ultimatum in which he tried to kill Jason Bourne (played by Matt Damon ), the agent Daniels ( Colin Stinton ) and Nicky Parson ( Julia Stiles ). After killing Daniels , Ansah's role is turned off by Damon's role.

In 2010 he directed the short film Streetfighter: Legacy , wrote the script, was responsible for the stunts and can be seen as an actor. Jon Foo and Christian Howard can be seen in the roles of Ryu and Ken . In the science fiction - action comedy Attack the Block from 2011 embodied Joey Ansah a policeman.
