Pascale Schnider , married. Iavarone-Schnider , (born October 18, 1984 in Flühli ) is a former Swiss cyclist .

Athletic career

From the mid-2000s, Pascale Schnider was one of the most successful and versatile female cyclists in Switzerland. In 2005 she became European champion (youngsters) in scratch on the track in Fiorenzuola d'Arda and in 2006 she was runner-up in Athens in the single pursuit . At the 2010 UCI Track World Championships , she finished eleventh in the pursuit.

After Schnider had already stood on the podium several times at Swiss road championships, she became national champion in the individual time trial in 2010 . In 2011 she achieved a triple triumph by winning the Swiss championships in the track omnium , in the individual time trial and in the road race. She ended her cycling career in 2012 after winning a total of seven national titles on track and road.

In 2017 Schnider had a short comeback and finished third at the Swiss championships in two-man team driving together with Desirée Ehrler .
