Sereina Trachsel (born February 9, 1981 in Weiach ) is a Swiss cyclist .
Athletic career
Sereina Trachsel began her sporting career with mountain sports and folk duathlon . She quickly discovered her strengths on the bike and also took part in national road races. In 2004 she won the Swiss championship road race in Pfaffnau and surprisingly beat all the favorites. In 2005 she was able to defend her title in the Cham race with a strong solo performance and in Brugg in 2007 . At the UCI Road World Championships in Stuttgart in 2009 , Trachsel came 19th as the best Swiss woman.
In 2008 Trachsel was signed to the Bigla Cycling Team . After its dissolution in 2009, she ended her cycling career.
