Evelyne Müller , married . Just-Müller , (born December 29, 1962 ) is a former Swiss cyclist .

Athletic career

Evelyne Müller grew up on her parents' farm near Gerlikon and was very interested in sports even as a child. She was so enthusiastic about a stage arrival of the Tour de Suisse in Frauenfeld in 1975 that she joined the MRSV Frauenfeld . In 1982 she was third in the Swiss road racing championship and in 1983 she won the title. In 1987 it was again in second place and in 1989 in third place. In 1989 she was also seventh in the overall ranking of the Tour of Norway . Between 1994 and 1998 she was Swiss champion in the omnium on the track five times in a row . She is also the record winner of the Hegiberg Tour with six wins .

At the age of 17 Evelyne Müller contested her first world championships, which were to be followed by another 13 participations on the road and track. She was only able to practice her sport because she supported her employer at the time, a sportswear company.

Between 1996 and 1998 Müller successfully took part in Masters cycling races at World Championships and European Championships.

Private

Evelyne Müller married in the mid-2000s and moved to Cape Town with her husband in 2006 , where she runs her own sewing studio as a trained seamstress (as of 2013).
