Kelly Druyts (born November 21, 1989 in Antwerp ) is a Belgian racing cyclist who is active on the road and track . She is an older sister of the cyclist Jessy Druyts .

Athletic career

In 2006 Kelly Druyts was three-time junior champion on the track, the following year she won her first four national titles in women: in the singles pursuit , in the keirin , in the points race and in the team sprint . In 2009 she was Belgian champion in the omnium and third in the road championship. By 2018 she had won at least 29 Belgian championship titles.

At the UCI Track World Championships 2010 in Ballerup , Druyts took fourth place in the scratch , was vice European champion (youngsters) in this discipline and Belgian vice champion in road racing. In 2011 she won a run of the Track Cycling World Cup in scratch and also won the overall World Cup ranking. At the UCI Track World Championships 2012 in Melbourne , she won the bronze medal in scratch . In 2014 she became world champion in this discipline, and in the same year she won silver in the points race at the European Railway Championships .

Also in 2014 Kelly Druyts had two successes on the road when she won a stage of the Trophée d'Or Féminin and the Holland Ladies Tour . In 2018 she won a stage each of the Tour of Zhoushan Island and the Panorama Guizhou International Women's Road Cycling Race . In July 2018 she competed in the BeNe Ladies Tour despite being pregnant , and in August she drove her last race for the time being. In January 2019, she had a daughter.

From April 2019 Druyts competed again in cycling races.
