Lee Hye-jin (born January 23, 1992 ) is a South Korean track cyclist who specializes in short-term disciplines.

Athletic career

In 2010, Lee Hye-jin became Junior World Champion in the 500-meter time trial . Since then she has been on the podium several times at the Asian championships of the elite team sprint , with various partners. At the Olympic Games in London , she started in the team sprint, sprint and keirin. In 2015 she became the Asian team sprint champion together with Choi Seul-gi .

In 2016, Lee was nominated to start in the keirin at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where she finished eighth. The following year she was Asian champion in the team sprint with Woong Gyeom-kim . In 2019 she won the Keirin competition at the World Cup in Cambridge . At the UCI Track World Championships 2020 in Berlin, she won the silver medal in her favorite discipline.
