Vittoria Guazzini (born December 26, 2000 in Pontedera ) is an Italian cyclist who is active on track and road .

Athletic career

Vittoria Guazzini began cycling at the age of seven at the Velo Club Seano One in Carmignano . In 2013 she had her first successes in youth races.

From 2017 Guazzini started in international races. In the first year she won the Junior Track World Championships with Martina Fidanza , Letizia Paternoster and Chiara Consonni with a new world record time (4: 21.554 min) the title in the team pursuit . The following year she won the world championship titles in the singles pursuit , in the Omnium , and in the team pursuit. She was also successful at the Junior European Championships in 2017 and 2018: Not only did she become a four-time European champion on the track, but also a junior European champion in the individual time trial on the road; in the street race she finished second.

In 2019 Guazzini with Letizia Paternoster , Marta Cavalli and Elisa Balsamo became U23 European champion in the team pursuit and vice-European champion in the single pursuit . On the road, she and the Italian team took third place in the first-ever mixed relay of the elite at the European Championships .
