Tomohiro Fukaya (born March 1, 1990 in Anjō ) is a Japanese track cyclist who specializes in the short-term disciplines in track cycling.
Athletic career
In 2017 Tomohiro Fukaya became the Japanese Keirin Champion . The following year he was Asian champion in the 1000-meter time trial ; at the Asian Games he won silver in the sprint and with Kazuki Amagai and Yudai Nitta in the team sprint . In the sprint, he won another national title.
In 2019 Fukaya was Asian champion in the team sprint with Nitta and Amagai . At the second round of the 2018/19 Track Cycling World Cup in Hong Kong , the three riders finished second. He finished first in the team sprint in two races of the 2019/20 Track Cycling World Cup . In 2020 he was again Asian champion in the team sprint with Nittag and Amagai . He finished third in the sprint.
