Olena Starykowa , also Olena Starikova , ( Ukrainian Олена Старикова ; born April 22, 1996 ) is a Ukrainian cyclist who specializes in short-term disciplines on the track .

Athletic career

In 2014, Oleny Starykowa took third place in the 500-meter time trial at the European Junior Championships . In the following two years she won a total of four national titles on the track.

2017 Starykowa decided the overall standings of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Sprint for themselves to have won without a single run. In 2018 she won the 500-meter time trial at the World Cup in Berlin . At the European Championships in the same year she won two silver medals, one in the time trial and another in the team sprint with Lyubow Bassowa . Once again she won the overall rankings of the World Cup in sprints and time trials. In 2019 she was runner-up in the world time trial. She came in second at the 2019 European Time Trial Games and at the European Sprint Championships .
