Frank Pasche (born March 19, 1993 in Châtel-Saint-Denis ) is a former Swiss track cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2012 Frank Pasche took third place in the national championship in the elite team pursuit together with Théry Schir , Cyrille Thièry and Maxime Magné . At the first run of the Track Cycling World Cup in Cali in 2012/13 , the Swiss four-man finished third with Pasche, Thiéry, Loïc Perizzolo and Kilian Moser .

In 2013 and 2014, the Swiss team with Pasche became European champions (U23) in the team pursuit . In 2015, Pasche and Théry Schir were U23 European champions in two-man team driving . At the UEC European Rail Championships in 2015 in Grenchen , Switzerland , the Swiss four-man with Pasche, Schir, Küng and Silvan Dillier won the silver medal in the team pursuit.

In 2016 Frank Pasche was nominated for participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , but did not start. In 2018 he became vice European champion in the team pursuit together with Cyrille Thièry , Théry Schir , Stefan Bissegger and Claudio Imhof . In August 2019, he announced his retirement from competitive cycling. As a trained bicycle mechanic, he wants to continue to get involved in cycling.
