Francisco Canindé Palhano

Francisco Canindé Palhano (born January 1, 1949 in São José de Mipibu , Rio Grande do Norte , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Petrolina .

Life

Francisco Canindé Palhano received on 2 February 1975, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On July 26, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Bonfim . The Archbishop of Natal , Matias Patrício de Macêdo , donated him episcopal ordination on October 21 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Campina Grande , Jaime Vieira Rocha , and the Archbishop Emeritus of Natal, Heitor de Araújo Sales .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Petrolina on January 3, 2018.
