The Diocese of Campina Grande ( lat. : Dioecesis Campinae Grandis ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese , based in Campina Grande in the state of Paraíba .
history
The diocese of Campina Grande was on May 14, 1949 by Pope Pius XII. built from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Paraíba and subordinated to this as a suffragan . On January 17, 1959, the diocese of Campina Grande gave parts of its territory to establish the diocese of Patos .
