The diocese Patos ( lat. : Dioecesis Patosensis ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Patos in the state of Paraíba .

history

The diocese of Patos was on January 17, 1959 by Pope John XXIII. Erected from the cession of the diocese of Cajazeiras and the diocese of Campina Grande . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Paraíba as a suffragan .
