The Diocese of Cajazeiras ( lat. : Dioecesis Caiazeirasensis ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Cajazeiras in the state of Paraíba .
history
The diocese of Cajazeiras was established on February 6, 1914 by Pope Pius X. from cession of territory to the Archdiocese of Paraíba and subordinated to this as a suffragan . On January 17, 1959, the diocese of Cajazeiras gave parts of its territory to establish the diocese of Patos .
