UCI Track World Championships for Juniors 2014

The UCI Juniors Track World Championships 2014 were to August 12 in the eighth Gwangmyeong Velodrome in South Korea Gwangmyeong , a suburb of Seoul discharged.

439 athletes (219 men and 200 women) from 33 countries were registered. The most successful male athlete at the World Championships was New Zealander Regan Gough , who won a total of four medals: gold in two-man team and points race, and silver in single and bronze in the team pursuit . The Australian Alexandra Manly , who was successful in the individual and team pursuit , won gold twice .

In the final points race of the women's omnium there was a serious fall in which the Danish Amalie Dideriksen, who was in second place, the German Lisa Klein, who was fourth, and the Korean Kim Bo-bae were involved. Dideriksen and Klein both suffered a broken collarbone. Nothing is known about injuries to the Korean driver.
