Alina Lange (born August 29, 1996 in Cologne ) is a German cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2012 Alina Lange became German champion for the first time , in the omnium of female youth. In the same year she was third in the team pursuit with Lisa Carolin Happke and Nina Schulz . In the team sprint , she was Vice-Champion with Lisa Carolin Happke and in the points race and time trial over 500 meters. As a junior, she won the sprint title at the German championships in 2013 and took third place in the Omnium. In addition, she was runner-up with Happke in the team sprint and over the 500 meters, in the points race she was third.

As of 2014, Lange started with women in some disciplines. At the German track championships in Cottbus, she was third in the team pursuit (with Christina Koep , Lisa Carolin Happke and Jenny Heeger ) and in the team sprint with Happke. In the same year she started at the Junior Track World Championships in Seoul and was sixth in the points race. The following year she was again third in the team sprint at national championships , together with Sabina Ossyra .

In 2016 Alina Lange won the national title in the women's scratch , in the team sprint she finished second with Tatjana Paller . In 2017, she and Franziska Brauße became the first German champion in two-man team driving .
