Lea Lin Teutenberg (born July 2, 1999 in Mettmann ) is a German cyclist who competes in races on track and road .

Athletic career

Lea Lin Teutenberg comes from a cycling family: her father is the cyclist Lars Teutenberg , her uncle Sven Teutenberg , her aunt Ina-Yoko Teutenberg . Her brother Tim Torn, who is three years her junior, is also active as a cyclist.

In 2016 Teutenberg became German junior champion in the team pursuit , in 2017 she won this title in the points race . Also in 2017 she became national junior champion in the individual time trial on the road; at the road world championships she finished 13th in the junior time trial. The following year she received her first contract with a UCI women's team , with WNT-Rotor Pro Cycling . In addition, together with Laura Süßemilch , Michaela Ebert and Franziska Brauße , she won the bronze medal in the team pursuit at the U23 European Railway Championships .

In 2018, Lea Lin Teutenberg was nominated for the start in the two-man team (with Michaela Ebert ) at the track bike World Cup in Berlin .
