Janine Bubner (born November 26, 1991 in Cottbus ) is a German cyclist who is active on track and road .

Career

In 2007 Bubner was able to win her first German youth championship title in the individual time trial on the road and in the points race on the track. In the same year she won silver in the singles pursuit .

In 2008, Bubner won the German championship title in the individual time trial and silver in the road race among the juniors. In 2009 she won the German championship title of juniors in the points race, silver in the individual time trial and bronze in the individual pursuit. In the same year she started at the Junior World Championships in Moscow and was 24th in the individual time trial on the road and seventh in the team pursuit.

At the U23 European Track Championships 2011 in Anadia 2011, she was seventh in the points race, eighth in the single pursuit and fourth in the Omnium . She won bronze in the points race at the German track championships in Berlin and won the Dernychampionat in Heidenau ahead of Hanka Kupfernagel. In January 2012, Bubner started with Judith Arndt and Lisa Brennauer in the team pursuit at the Track Cycling World Cup in Beijing ; the trio took tenth place. In the same year she won the German championship title in the team pursuit with Charlene Delev and Lina-Kristin Schink , silver in the points race and bronze in the sprint , behind Miriam Welte and Charlott Arndt .
