The Velódromo Panamericano is a cycling track in Tlaquepaque , Mexico , a neighboring town of Guadalajara .

The Velódromo Panamericano was built on the occasion of the Pan American Games in 2011 . Its grandstands offer space for around 2000 spectators. The train itself is considered one of the best in Latin America . The Velodrome was only certified by the World Cycling Federation UCI in October 2011 after two pillars that obstructed the view were removed. The architect of the Velodrome is Humberto Encinas Martínez .

In January 2014 the third run of the Track Cycling World Cup 2013/14 was held in the Velodrome Panamericano . The operators of the railway also successfully applied to host another World Cup run in November 2014.
