Thomas Boudat (born February 24, 1994 in Langon ) is a French cyclist who is active on track and road .
Career
In 2011 Thomas Boudat was third in the European Junior Track Championships in the team pursuit , together with Marc Fournier , Kévin Lesellier and Marc Sarreau ; at the junior track world championships in Moscow , he finished tenth in the Omnium . In the following year he was junior European champion in the points race .
In 2013, Boudat won two titles at the European Track Championships in the U23 class, in the points race and in the two-man team race , together with Bryan Coquard . He was also a two-time French champion in omnium and points. At the UEC-Bahn-European championships 2013 of the elite in Apeldoorn he was runner-up European champion in the points run. In addition, he and Franco Marvulli finished third in the six-day race in Grenoble .
In 2016, Thomas Boudat was nominated for participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where he finished fifth in the Omnium. In the same year he won the Omnium at the track cycling World Cup in Hong Kong and was U23 European champion (U23) in this discipline . On the road, he won one stage of the Settimana Internazionale in 2017 and the Tour of Andalusia in 2018 . In 2019 he won the Circuit de Wallonie after winning the six-day race in Rotterdam with Niki Terpstra in January of that year .
