Louis Chaillot

Louis Chaillot (born March 2, 1914 in Chaumont , † January 30, 1998 in Aubenas ) was a French track cyclist .

Louis Chaillot competed twice at the Olympic Games and won a total of three medals: in 1932 in Los Angeles he won silver in the sprint and gold in the tandem race together with Maurice Perrin , and in 1936 bronze in the sprint.

In 1937 Chaillot went to the pros and became French sprint champion in the same year. In 1944 and 1946 he was French champion in the standing race and in 1946 third in the standing world championship. He also won several podium places in French championships.
