Émilien Clère (born June 4, 1982 in Chaumont ) is a French cyclist .

Athletic career

Émilien Clère came from a cycling family, his father was a racing cyclist and his uncle was Régis Clère , who was French road racing champion in 1982 .

Clère mainly competes in races in France and has won several local championships: in 2013 he was champion of Champagne-Ardenne and in 2014 of the Region-Center . In 2014, 2016 and 2017, Clère was the French champion in the standing race behind the pacemaker Francois Toscano . In 2018 he missed the title because he fell - while at the top - and he finished third.
