Renato Perona
Renato Perona (born May 24, 1927 in Terni ; † April 9, 1984 ibid) was an Italian track cyclist and Olympic champion.
At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 , Renato Perona won the gold medal in the tandem race together with Ferdinando Terruzzi .
The cycling track , which was inaugurated in his hometown of Terni in 2004 , was named Ciclodromo Comunale "Renato Perona" . A planet also bears his name.
