Quentin Patrice Charles Caleyron (born January 30, 1988 in Saint-Étienne ) is a French cyclist .

Athletic career

Quentin Caleyron began his sporting career as a BMX rider. In 2012 and 2015 he was third in the European Championship. He was French vice-champion twice and took part in world cups nine times. In 2012 he started at the Olympic Games in London and finished twelfth. In 2016 he suffered a fall after which he had to have a bone transplant. In 2017 the doctors gave him the green light for the sport, but advised him not to ride BMX anymore. He then decided to switch to track cycling .

In 2019, Caleyron won the silver medal in the team sprint at the European Games in Minsk together with Grégory Baugé , Rayan Helal and Quentin Lafargue . In spring 2020 he won the team sprint at the Track Cycling World Cup in Milton together with Lafargue and Florian Grengbo
