Levi Heimans (born July 24, 1985 in Diemen ) is a former Dutch cyclist .

In 2001, at the age of 16, Levi Heimans became the Dutch street youth champion. Since then he has been national champion four times in various age groups and disciplines and has finished on the podium, including in World Cup races and European championships.

Heiman's great strengths are the track cycling disciplines individual and team pursuit . At the UCI Track World Championships in Los Angeles in 2005 he was third in the single pursuit and won bronze in the team pursuit together with Jens Mouris , Peter Schep and Niki Terpstra .

In 2006 Heimans interrupted his cycling career for a year to finish his studies. In 2008 in Beijing he took part in the Olympic Games for the second time and finished fifth with the Dutch track four, as in 2004. The games in London in 2012, he finished together with Jenning Huizenga , Wim Stroetinga and Tim Veldt seventh place with the new national record time of 4: 03.818 minutes.

After the Olympic Games in 2012, Heimans ended his active cycling career. He finished his studies in movement science at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and has been working as a trainer and motivational speaker ever since.
