The 95th UCI Track Cycling World Championships were held from 24. bis 27. March 2005 in Los Angeles instead. There were 15 disciplines on the program. The race took place in the ADT Event Center of the sports center "Home Depot Center", which seats 2,800 and is the only covered velodrome in North America. It stands on the site of the demolished 1984 Olympic track .
