UCI track world championships 1928

The 24th UCI Track World Championships took place in Budapest from August 14th to 20th, 1928 .

17 drivers from nine countries were registered for the professional aviation competition. The Illustrierte Radrenn-Sport commented: "Most countries only send their national champions to save money." Eleven riders from six countries started in the stayer race.
