Petra Müller (media officer)
Petra Maria Müller (* 1. January 1958 ) is a German film functionary and managing director of the Film Foundation North Rhine-Westphalia .
After studying German , art history and ethnology at the University of Cologne , she started her career in a management consultancy for strategic marketing in Cologne. She moved to the Adolf Grimme Institute , where she initially worked as a research assistant and later as a project manager. As a result, she was appointed director of the Cologne Conference film and television festival . From 1995 she was managing partner of the HMR International - Gesellschaft für Medienberatung, founded together with Lutz Hachmeister and Martina Richter .
From 2004, Müller was managing director of the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg funding institution , before taking over from Michael Schmid-Ospach as managing director of the North Rhine-Westphalia Film Foundation on September 1, 2010 . Furthermore, Müller With editor of the yearbook television and Member of the ZDF Television Council . Since 1999 she has also headed the permanent secretariat of the German Television Prize .
