UCI track world championships 1907

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The eighth UCI Track Cycling World Championships took place on 30 June and 4 and 7 July 1907 on the Velodrome Parc des Princes in Paris instead.

Originally the first races were only scheduled for June 30th and July 4th, but had to be postponed due to rain. The world championship for amateur pilots scheduled for June 30th was relocated to the Paris winter railway on the same day . Both some drivers and many spectators were not informed of this relocation, so these drivers went home and the races took place in front of almost empty grandstands.
