Victor Tubbax

Victor Tubbax (born February 11, 1882 in Deurne , † October 24, 1974 in 's Gravenwezel ) was a Belgian track cyclist .

Twice - in 1906 and 1907 - was Victor Tubbax vice world champion stayer race of amateurs . In the same years he was always Belgian champion in this discipline.

After retiring from cycling, Victor Tubbax and his brother opened the De Zwarte Leeuw restaurant , which was a meeting place for cyclists and still exists today as the Tubbax tavern in Deurne.
